Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. Mel Gibson is known as sort of a macho action hero, and stereotyped into his Mad Max/Martin Riggs persona. So doing a straight comedy doesn't seem like much of a stretch, and as you watch in a movie like this Gibson's timing and delivery is impeccable.
I thought that author Brenda Jackson did a fabulous job of putting each woman in her own spotlight and not for one moment did I feel lost or distressed because there wasn't "one main heroine/hero" in the storyline. Nick, a somewhat chauvinistic advertising exec hot shot, has his life turned haywire when a fluke accident enables him to hear what women think. Fun for a temporary escape, if that's what you're looking for.
With personal crises and age weighing in on them, LAPD officers Riggs and Murtaugh must contend with deadly Chinese triads that are trying to free their former leaders out of prison and onto American soil.
When the shoe is on the other foot, and he sees first hand what is dealt to the fairer sex, it changes him profoundly. What a Beautiful Woman Wants: Emmy Elliott.
I was incredibly high when I watched this, such good times.

This is such a silly film that is saved by the wonderful acting of Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. My mum took me to see this and I loved the film it my favorite film I tryed every ever to get it and now I have it I am happy as a rabbit Mel Gibson is known as sort of a macho action hero, and stereotyped into his Mad Max/Martin Riggs persona.

There was no cork in the bottle, just one already in Nick's hand. It’s not sexy and it literally repels women away from you. Bret Maverick, needing money for a poker tournament, faces various comic mishaps and challenges, including a charming woman thief. Darcy tasks the staff, including Nick, to develop advertising ideas for a series of feminine products she distributes at the staff meeting.
After an accident, a chauvinistic executive gains the ability to hear what women are really thinking. If you relegate all 'chick movies' to file 13, then you should definately keep your macho bones away from this one...but then you probably didn't like 'Sleepless in Seattle' and 'An Affair to Remember'.
'What Women Want' is upbeat, relitively light, funny, and romantic. When Nick decides to get music from his daughter's backpack, he finds Fiona Apple's "When the Pawn..." and Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" before settling on Meredith Brooks's "Blurring the Edges" (commenting "She's hot"), leading to him dancing and singing along to the song "Bitch". An interesting film. Nick visits Darcy and explains everything.
Is someone she can look up to, respect and trust to be the man all the time.
