Played by: Alan Rickman and Tom sellick are both outstanding. Ultimately the star of the film is the big Sharps long range rifle that Selleck carries and I believe he was given instruction in the handling and loading of the weapon to aid authenticity.

Plot sees Selleck as Matthew Quigley, a Wyoming cowboy and sharp shooting rifleman who answers an advertisement to go to Western Australia as a hired sharp shooter. I've watch this film twice now, but with a span of at least ten years between, the most recent being here in December 2016.

Matthew Quigley is an American rifleman who travels to the Australian, where his new boss expects him to kill Aborigines. The story takes place in Australia and is filmed there as well which adds to what makes this such a unique movie and western. Due to a high volume of active users and service overload, we had to low down the quality of video streaming. Music is by Basil Poledouris and cinematography by David Eggby. Also confusing the situation (as well as enlivening it) is a somewhat deranged "trollop" (Laura San Giacomo) who erroneously thinks Quigley is her husband.
Possibly because I was watching the movie on an Ultra High Definition TV that may heighten imperfections, but quality of the video image did not appear improved beyond DVD quality. The movie is driven by the story and characters and not by special effects, cliches, or emphasis on flash over substance.

Matthew Quigley This is a classic Tom Selleck film about him using a classic Sharps rifle. A man of moral integrity, Quigley strongly declines this murderous duty and throws his new boss through the window, so... now its war between them.
