QBE Summary.
These people DOUBLE debited me. They are not supportive of military service members. I have just noticed the payment for may was deducted against what they agreed to. © 2020 Trustpilot, Inc. This means I will now have 2 dishonours on my account and will negatively affect my home loan application in that now it won’t be approved !! They are not supportive of military service members.
Working through their subsidiary, Balboa Insurance, QBE / Balboa is accused of seriously deficient business practices. Praetorian Insurance Company; ... in reality my insurance is with QBE. Had to request SIX TIMES for them to get the right information when I refinanced.
Now have to go thru pain of sorting this out. Called the General line from website. After they mess up your phone bill, bank account, and personal savings. QBE is almost 150 years old and is the largest insurance provider in Australia. My claim was also denied before they spoke to the apartment manager which leads me to believe this was her MO from the beginning.

We filed a claim 1.5 months ago due to a supply line water leak from the unit above. DO NOT GO WITH THEM. And the experience has been Pleasant the whole process was refreshing considering the circumstances we had some damages done to our Roof from the storm and Qbe took care of us they were professional and timely on the ball , My adjuster Bratt Zhan took care of our issues had all the right channels lined up with the other adjusters to get the job done ..This Company as a whole so far has been great no bad reviews over here Bravo QBE ...
Incredibly bad customer service. Homeowners insurance review QBE homeowners insurance is by far one if the worst insurance companies that I have dealt with within the last 30 years as a homeowner. Read ★ QBE reviews now! GOOD LUCK EVER GETTING ANYONE ON THE PHONE. QBE is a merged company of three different Australian insurance providers. QBE is not a good insurance company. They said we were not at fault and we starting the repair. Buyer beware!! I called the company's main number to try to talk to someone and found out that our adjuster was on a leave of absence and NO ONE WAS MONITORING HER EMAILS OR VOICE MAILS!!!!! Horrible customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPNAY. This company is a scam! to prove I am the owner of the items that was in the claim (which took about a week) when in reality she had no intentions of going forward nor approving my claim. In addition, communication is very poor. They don't return calls. I was issued a Renters Insurance Policy in Dec. of 2019 with what I thought to be “Resident Shield” but they are really the underwriters for multiple companies. A tornado damaged my roof and they refused to cover it. QBE have actively worked against me in an attempt to not honour their policy. I caught her once and she said she *just* received the paperwork she needed (which was not true as I talked to a random specialist from their general line the week before who said he could see everything was in place and wasn't sure why I hadn't heard back) and that she would call me back the next day. Then when you call they ask you to say on the line for a survey and hold music plays for 10 mins. USE ANYONE BUT QBE!!!!
I have a business policy with a clear clause for business interruption caused by contagious disease and they will not pay out anything over Coronavirus/Covid-19 although this is a listed cause under the policy. QBE is not a good insurance company.
My ex-insurance company QBE has told me that they cannot – which means will not – temporarily suspend or ‘freeze’ insurance cover for my motorcycle that I may not be able to use for several months, thanks to non-essential use being prohibited. QBE has proven to be the worst company I’ve dealt with in my life. What was supposed to be a quick two weeks process has gone on for months. I accepted the denied claim but now I wanted to speak with someone regarding the the endorsement that was never mentioned and regarding my policy (since it was never sent in the mail). After suffering a workplace injury and enduring many months of severe pain , and being assessed by a doctor to be fit to work , but , and I mean but . Half way through the repair they changed it and said we are at fault and now we have to pay the excess. Dealing with them is worse than the accident. I've hired a lawyer. They say what they have to say and it’s everything is done from there.
Then. The managers and supervisors don’t get any better, they tell you info you already know and they will repeat over and over to you with no effort to try finding a conclusion to your issue or answers to the real issues. They accepted a payment from the opposing insurance company and kept it a secret. They don't answer their phone lines - any of them.
